POWER Library Databases:

• Use SIRS Discoverer from school (Children's Resources) or Home Access - Carnegie Library -- for Current Events
  • Click "Current Events" at bottom
  • Browse articles for science topics
     
• Use Student Research Center from school (General Reference) or Home Access - Carnegie Library -- for magazine and newspaper articles
  • To Browse science topics type NOTHING in search box
  • Click "Full Text"
  • At left Click "Science" or "Health"
  • Click a Topic from the list
  • Click "Search" at top near search box
  • Click "Magazines" or "Newspapers" to see only these
    OR
  • Type a Topic in search box
  • Click "Full Text"
  • Click Search
  • Click "Magazines" or "Newspapers" to see only articles

• Use Middle Search Plus from school (Children's Resources) or Home Access - Carnegie Library -- for magazine and newspaper articles
