  • Smithsonian Education -- Resources for Educators!  Lesson plans, online activities, field trip planning and more.

  • International Reading Association: ReadWriteThink -- standards-based lesson plans and reviewed Web resources for K-8 educators and students.

  • Thinkfinity Teacher Resources --  contains more than 55,000 authoritative educational and literacy resources for teachers, students and community programs including standards-based K-12 lesson plans, student materials, interactive tools and web sites. Thinkfinity also includes best-in-class evidence-based literacy resources such as the Life Span Literacy Matrix from the Verizon Literacy Network.

  • New York Times Daily Lesson Plan Archive -- Grades 6-12  This URL connects to the archive of daily lesson plans posted over the past two years at the New York Times Learning Network.

    • Discovery School -- includes Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth. It is updated often to include the best sites for teaching and learning -  Also lesson plans, clip art and more.
    • Blue Web'n  -- an online library of 2066 outstanding Internet sites categorized by subject, grade level, and format (tools, references, lessons, hotlists, resources, tutorials, activities, projects).
